7 - Magnum, On a Storyteller's Night

This was the inspiration for the long-searched-for title of the new play we took to the Edinburgh Fringe in '96. I was wearing my 'Storyteller's Night' shirt just the other day...the song and the memories are inextricably interlinked.

Hurrah! I still have no idea how widely known that song is in this country. I saw it on Swiss TV and fell in love with it.

My player is cyceling randomly through many Xmas'tat albums. So you can probably guess what the outcome would be :)

Dammit I missed out on this one.

Speaking of Oomph!, have you seen the video for Augen Auf?

Sinister as all hell!

When I was in Switzerland earlier this year there was one music channel we used to watch in the evenings - it was mainly (c)rap, but every hour they'd play the "Augen Auf" video. It's how I found the song.

Did you download it - or are they showing it on TV here?
nattydreadi From: nattydreadi Date: December 24th, 2004 01:18 pm (UTC) (Link)
You can watch about 3/4 of it on the website which they kindly do in English as well as German.

Though I am going to try to find it to download to watch the whole way through.

Those children they are wrong.

As an aside, Augen Auf is on the Fifa 2005 soundtrack (at least according to fansites) so you may see a rise in British popularity
