MeMe
"Ask me any question (or more than one if you want) of or about one ofmy characters (be they tabletop, LRP, past or present) and I will reply honestly - I of course reserve the right to reply with "Find Out In Game" if it's a question about a current character."

I can imagine this will confuse perhaps 40% of my friends list at least...

Only because it's Friday afternoon and I'm procrastinating: What did White think of Black?
kneeshooter From: kneeshooter Date: December 1st, 2006 02:44 pm (UTC) (Link)
Not a lot - see the block of wood comment below. Slightly fascinated and intrigued but was not the subject of much attention. Progressed from "Oooh, what's this?" to "Gosh, look what's going on. This could be interesting" to "Who?".

How pissed off were Mon Dragone and his goons when the Bjornaer didn't roll over and show their bellies when asked to support his scheme ?

Slightly disappointed, but not especially bothered. It would have been nice to have had a clean sheet, but with the relatively small run-up we had it was going to be unlikely.

my question

"Why??"

Re: my question

It's Friday and I'm bored :-)

Oh, you mean in general... Well, if your real life is so good you never want to escape in whatever way in good company then all power to you!

Me, I need the odd distraction.

Re: my question

no i think my real life is often so bad i can't see any way to escape - my thoughts will follow me even if i am pretending to be someone else.

Did Cyngelis and Khaela have more than a master/apprentice/apostle relationship?
Did they live happily ever after?

Answers from you or her phsyrep.

Was White dodgier than Violet?
kneeshooter From: kneeshooter Date: December 1st, 2006 02:32 pm (UTC) (Link)
Oh please! Like Roz you're looking for too much depth in a logistical function. White disappeared in a sentence in Rune, remember?

The second question is more difficult to answer. More dangerous in some senses and more manipulative - probably. But it's like comparing two blocks of wood...
purplewizard From: purplewizard Date: December 1st, 2006 06:07 pm (UTC) (Link)
Yeah I think I would tend to agree with your analysis there...
ikkleblacktruck From: ikkleblacktruck Date: December 1st, 2006 10:39 pm (UTC) (Link)
I think you both give yourselves too little credit under the excuse of logistics. You were real to your players, and isn't that what counts?

PS. White was way more dodgy.
irdm From: irdm Date: December 1st, 2006 10:12 pm (UTC) (Link)
(a) IIRC LS later let me read KM's diary, it suggested there was backplot, s'all.
(b) you did ask to be asked.
ikkleblacktruck From: ikkleblacktruck Date: December 1st, 2006 10:42 pm (UTC) (Link)
Of course we lived happily ever after, fused in the Void as a result of the (wholly intended) explosion.

Remember Stormbringer... "I was a thousand times more evil than thou".

*watches SW shudder*

What did Ziustra think of (a)Skhordaka, (b)Skhordaka's death and (c)Kyle Tristan?
kneeshooter From: kneeshooter Date: December 1st, 2006 02:34 pm (UTC) (Link)
Skhordaka was a misguided individual who let his ego get in the way. His death was unfortunate as there was a danger he might not have finished playing his part - but in the end it worked out ok. Kyle was funny. Useful to a degree, but more amusing.

A more general question - WHEN DO WE GET THE 'ALLO 'ALLO GAME YOU KEEP TEMPTING US WITH.

Your public demands it.

I still fancy a Paga Tavern.

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
No LRP conversation!

It's not just about LRP - you're just sensitive.

what would white's reaction have been to being followed by eight krishna-types loudly chanting his praises for the entire duration of the Ga****ing?
ikkleblacktruck From: ikkleblacktruck Date: December 2nd, 2006 05:07 pm (UTC) (Link)
Magebolt x8 (and he wouldn't have had to lift a finger...)
esrunkatsu From: esrunkatsu Date: December 4th, 2006 12:03 pm (UTC) (Link)
I see I'm not the only person curious about Cyngelis.

Did you actually enjoy playing him?

Yes, I do see all the "logistical function" comments above, but I remember interacting with you as a convincing character then - I remember feeling very frustrated with you when you stopped our dismiss wedge with your book, and I also know how much role playing I fitted in around issuing bits of paper to players myself.
kneeshooter From: kneeshooter Date: December 4th, 2006 12:15 pm (UTC) (Link)
I suppose my point would be that there was little "new" or "interesting" about the characterisation. When I was called to "roleplay" in the loosest sense I just exaggerated my own personality rather than tapped into any rehearsed character.

Enjoy? Yes. But mainly in the sense that I enjoy supporting and building a game for others. I'm a terribly softy like that. I'm such a victim :-P
