Corrosive Shame
Therapy for Life
[GPP] arachne
Interesting in a number of ways, and highlights why photographers use decent lights and studios. I experimented with photoshopping backgrounds etc. but in the end left them in. The kinda-high-key style of processing makes them less crap IMO.

In any case, was the first occasion I've really experimented with ~people~ and it my confidence in offering direction definitely increased even over the thirty minutes we spent.

Page at http://www.disturbing.org.uk/portfolio-ara0411.htm contains a couple of NWS images.

I kept mentally repeating to myself "the eyes, the eyes" as I was using a 1.4 lens - the narrow depth of field is obvious.

Thanks for the "odd-floaty-woman-thing" btw :-)

These are really nice, good use of high key. You should experiment more with portraits, you've got the right touch.

They're not cropped at angles - they're shot at angles. I guess I've not been thinking straight recently ;-)

arachne is the young lady. She's even real.
