Holiday Snaps!
Since becoming a pretentious photography w*nker I've never really gotten to grips with Holiday Snaps. Here you can see some more of my best efforts to date.

Is this the National Green Party HQ?

Where were you sailing to/from, and on what?

The Bark Endeavour replica - out of the harbour, NW for about 10 minutes, then turn around and back again.

It made me want to get back on the water properly again.

Sailing is excellent. Off out next weekend to complete my Competent Crew, then another week in May already planned.

I grew up in Southampton - so did some dingy sailing and sea kayaking then. I think this might be the year to do some more.

Wow - doesn't the speedboat just completely spoil that view?

Nice gloomy weather. You can imagine Dracula's ship landing here.
Some interesting details, too.

*laughs at the Green Party caravan*
This is the sort of photo my mother would say "Why did you take that for?" but the odd, old and neglected but typical things is what really portrays a place, not (or not exclusively) the polished tourist attractions.

The caravan shot is one of my favourites - it's tongue-in-cheek, has a sense of humour and is very, very English.

I didn't quite have the right lens for the shot I wanted, and was somewhat hampered by a wall, but it's ok.
