Thanks to s0b I'm dipping my toe in the world of Philip Glass. I'm enjoying it so far, but wondered - has anyone yet done a version of this track (see Now Playing) with the Lost numbers, or is that too genre defying?
Speaking of which, I thought this week's episode was a little disappointing. Poor Charlie. Though the flashback child actor had an uncanny resemblance, and was nearly as tall as Dominic Monaghan.
That's one of my favourite operas but the version I have recorded isn't as good as the original one I heard in the '80s and I've never been able to track down the taped copy of my friend's that I recorded over by accident (oops!). I think it was a live radio broadcast.
I don't think any of this is spoiler to those S1 people...
No, wasn't the best episode, and poor Charlie indeed... being an avid Easter Egg hunter, what with being an Obsessive-Compulsive *and* having far too much free time atm, I was disappointed by the lack of Easter Eggs in this episode... particularly as the last podcast said...
"there is a flashback in this episode that takes place in london and you will see the london skyline and you might wanna check it out sort of very very carefully there is an iconic building there that you music fans might recognize I don't want to tip from what but there's some sign-age on that building too that might pay off later for those of you who are easter egg hunting that you should write down and say what does this mean..."
Now I am guessing they can only mean BSP but signage?? not a chance to make that out!!!
