Corrosive Shame
Therapy for Life
I've just done a 108 question online assessment test where I was asked to rate which was "most" and "least" like me of a series to statements. Some of them were pretty straightforward - others definitely of the style:

Which would you most and least like to strangle?
  • A Cat

  • A Dog

  • An Albatross

  • A Hamster
I am rather intrigued about what it will say about me, but I guess I'll never know. I did seem to end up saying that breaking rules doesn't worry me overly about 25-30 times.

Now, back to writing some procurement documents.

Everyone knows not to strangle albatrosses.

See - that's a perfect example of the problem - it normally very easy to answer one of the "most like" or "least like" but that doesn't help with the reverse.

I can't make up my mind between a dog and a cat. A cat would fight back, wheras a dog would look mournful and make me feel guilty for stranglig it. But a cat would be easier to bury, wheras a dog is made of too much meat and would take forever to get rid of. But a dog is not consistently crapping in places I do not approve of, wheras a cat is doing that and also making insane noises at me on occasion.

Can I just strangle the damn hamster and be done?

Exactly my point - you have to choose the flipside too.

That was me. For some reason it has come out anonymous.
