Your Live Journal "user name" & what it means:
It all started when I was playing Swat3 with cutietrol and realised that as I couldn't shoot straight and was lacking a silly handle... Since then I've grown quite attached to it.

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your Live Journal represent who you actually are?
Like most people I think my life is about masks, and until recently has been highly compartmentalised. Those barriers are going (which I'm generally happy with) partly thanks to LJ.

How much about your life do you post to LJ?
Apart from the odd "thoughts" I think its a bit dull tbh - and about my interactions (within certain parameters) with other people. There are things I definitely keep out of it - but I've the odd private post when I was angry...

Is there anything you refuse to post about?
Yes

On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?
3? My cat's journal seems to have attracted strangers more than this one has.

From who/how did you find out about LJ?
boglin got me started - then I discovered how many other people I knew/wanted to know had them.

Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you?
Yes.

What proportion of your posts are friends only?
Very few.

What is your favourite interest on LJ?
Changes day by day. If I'm browsing I can get inspired by other peopel and then add a new one.

How often do you respond to/comment on other peoples' journals?
Quite often. Depends how bored I am.

Do you prefer to write in your journal, read other journals?
Read others as a rule.

Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument/flame war on LJ (or did it to someone else)?
No. Well, I suppose technically I've stalked other people in the sense I read their journals...

Have you ever banned someone from your journal?
No.

Who are your favourite LJ friend(s) and why?
Different strokes. pax_draconis and sexbat amuse me, quondam, boglin and grendelchild I find interesting. naughtywhitecat I abhor.

How many of your LJ friends have you actually met?
Almost all - bar say 2 or 3 (excluding the imaginary ones)

Of all of the people on LJ you know of, who is the most like you?
According to quizilla - lupercal and sixtine; based on interests pax_draconis, yapman and boglin (who has slipped a bit...)

Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?
Either if I know them, feel I should, or think they sound intersting.

Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?
As a rule no - but it comes down to insatiable curiosity - if someone opens a window on my life then I want to know who they are and why; or don't want to miss out on what they say if we have many other mutual friends.

What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?
Their journal was as dull as mine...

Is your "significant other" on LJ?
Yes.

Have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ?
Yes.

Damn. And even adding Radio 4 to my interests didn't work. The only thing would be to get into LRP, and I'm not prepared to take such drastic action ;p
